A great place to spend some time by Rich L. at InsiderPages

Panera is not just a place for a bite to eat. In that area it is quite good as well, with the sandwiches and soups (try the potato-cream cheese). It is alos a great place to do some work or just hang out. The biggest selling point is the free wireless internet. It makes you want to return and buy drinks or food while you work. It also makes you feel like you are valuable, unlike some places that charge crazy rates for wireless access.
PROS: good food, drink; free wireless internet
CONS:
Fresh-baked goods, fresh-brewed coffee and creative sandwiches served up in relaxed, roomy surroundings.

In Short
Bright colors and comfortable furniture give this chain cafe a laid-back feel, with scattered tables that beckon coffee-sipping readers, chatters and diners. All baked goods--bagels, muffins, two dozen kinds of bread--are made fresh on the premises. Sandwiches include turkey-artichoke panini and Asiago roast beef, plus standards like chicken salad and smoked turkey. Soups change daily, but popular choices like broccoli and cheese, chicken noodle and French onion are always on the menu.
