A wonderful rediscovery!. I first went to Ahmed's years ago. The food was just okay. I was not all that impressed, and I never went back until earlier this year. I went again earlier this week. The food is quite good. My steak was tender and perfectly cooked. The only negatives are that they have a horrible wine list and the atmosphere is diner-ish. But if you want a decent steak from a local restaurant and don't want to get all fancy, then this is a wonderful little gem of a place.

Great Restaurant for Family or Couple Dining. My husband and I have been eating at Ahmeds for the last 25yrs. We enjoy the atmosphere & the food. We have two children that are not grown and we still all go there for a nice quiet sit down meal. You'll not leave disappointed - we never have. Excellent service - large portions and a meal that will not allow room for desert! Best local margaritas around! By far a five star restaurant in our eyes - though the name has changed to Jaci's - still the same great food & service by far! Tobers

inconsistent. VERY inconsistent. steaks are decent on a busy night but you'll have to wait at least 45 minutes to an hour for a seat... don't bother making reservations as even if you do, you still end up waiting. Ironically, if it's a weekday and the place is quiet, pray that your steak doesn't come out with a rubbery consistency or burnt to a crisp. Do yourself a favor and head to Mancy's; you'll spend a lot more but you'll walk out with a smile on your face.

Best swordfish dish!!. Little cozy family restaurant, always packed. The swordfish dish comes with soup and salad. It was rated to be the best swordfish dish by Toledo Blade. You will agree when you try it!

Al Ahmed's Steak House. It is safe to say that Al Ahmed's Steak House is the best kept secret in Toledo. I heard good words about the Steak House and went to give it a shot. The second the steak touch my mouth, I knew I would be becoming a regular visitor. I have been to many steak houses in Toledo and other big cities as well... but this one takes the prize.
