I am not an auto mechanic - rather a 22 yr journeyman machine repairman in a local factory that needs a break from constant repair jobs all day long . But I can & do recognize people who know what they are doing in a repair enviroment. What I seen there was a small neighborhood automobile repair shop operated in a no nonsense and efficient manner, which results in getting the needed work done right ( & they did ) I greatly appreciated the work --- njh.
Pros: good location , easy to find, fast quality service

I have been a customer at this location for over 5 years. Just recently, I took my car in because the brakes were making a squealing noise and the brake light was on. The guy(has blonde hair) who is the manager of this shop was very rude to me. (not sure why...I've been a customer for years and never had a problem.) His attitude was terrible but I went ahead and had him repair it On my my way home I kept hearing a really loud squealing noise - louder than before. I take my car back and unfortunately get the same guy. He checks my car and tells me that I needed brake pads. I ask why he could not tell me this when I came in the first time. His strange answer was " I didn't test drive your car when you came in the first time!' So I ask the simple question: WHY? Again, he responded with strangest answer: "since your brake light was on I didn't want to take the chance of driving it because the brakes could go out and I could crash into some one. I wouldn't want to be liable for crashing your car." I must respectfully but truthfully say, THAT WAS THE MOST IDIOTIC STATEMENT I HAVE EVER HEARD! He works at a muffler shop for goodness sakes! The probability of have a problem with the brakes is 10 out of 10- it comes with the territory! I mention how frustrating the situation is. He says " you are angry with us but we're doing you a favor by patching your car up." DOING ME A FAVOR!? There are no 'favors' mister , I'm paying for your lousy, inaccurate service! Anyway, his final and most annoying comment was, "If this were my wife or daughter's car it wouldn't be on the road.' AND? What is your point? Maybe I'm single, maybe my father's not around....who cares! Why was that comment necessary...just fix my car! They lost a faithful customer. I will never go there again! So, please listen to what I'm telling you...they are rude and not very thorough at the Auto Connection on Jackman Road. DON'T GIVE YOUR MONEY TO SOMEONE WHO WILL NOT APPRECIATE YOU AS A CUSTOMER!
Pros: Can't really think of any at the moment.
Cons: Rude, Inaccurate, not thorough
