I have eaten at Calvino's and also had Calvino's food brought in to work from a company we work with. The food both times has been out of this world. The food is hearty and filling but doesnt sit in the pit of the stomach fullness. It seems everyone who has lived in Toledo knows about this small little place. We had okay service at the restaraunt. The portions are big!!
Pros: Quiet and cozy

This is one of a handful of places in Toledo worth eating at more than once. It's kind of funky because you have to go up stairs to the small dining room, but believe me, I've gone up on crutches more than once. It's worth that much effort. Although I almost always get pizza, other entrees are top-notch: calzones, lasagna, salad with roasted veggies. Oh, and try hard not to over indulge on the tasty bread, made from pizza dough that they bring before you're served. It's really carbohydrate over-the-top and really yummy.
