Good Food, Friendly Atmosphere - A place you feel good going to
by shocker
The breakfasts and lunches are the food that your mother / grandmother / aunt that was a really good cook would make. They are light but filling. The potato salad is the best I've ever had. The bakery items (cookies, muffins, sticks, etc.) are delicious. The homemade pies are always a temptation. The atmosphere is one of a European cafe. There is a degree of pride in the product and experience that is lacking in the many chain restraunts that encircle the city. This is the perfect type of place to keep people coming to the downtown. It's worth the trip.
- Pros: Experience, Food quality, Pastries
- Cons: Located in a strip mall
I grew up here.

Since moving to Perrysburg in elementary school, I've looked forward to Saturdays including a trip to the Lamplight for lunch. My brothers have always been huge fans of the cinnimon rolls (as well as the cookies and other baked goods).
My favorite menu item is the chef salad which includes the most amazing croutons that i've ever experienced.
- Pros: Bakery, Home-town feeling
