Depends on who you get... Most of the time I go to Mirage, the service is good and the cut is close to what I asked for. However, sometimes it can become extremely loud and the stylists delve into your personal life, asking details that aren't even close to becoming their business.

The owner is wonderful and does the best cuts in the place - but she's often times booked. One woman, who I could never exactly remember her face, has butchered my hair twice.... then tortured it further with a curling iron. I would immediately rush home to wash out her hideous styling. Don't let anyone in there come near you with a curling iron if she has a Dallas Cowboys shirt on. You'll regret it as you run inside your home with a baseball hat covering her handywork.

where I always go in BG. I think that this place is great overall - They are professional, can usually squeeze you in the same day or within a couple days. Nice girls who chat with you and are pretty personable. Every cut has been great save a bad experience a LONG time ago, and I believe that person has left them.

Since the stylists are on a private contract basis (pay rent to the owner of the salon for cutting hair there) you get a higher turn-over of stylists. I went to one girl a few times and then found out she had to leave because she couldn't afford the rent anymore. However, LOTS of salons do things this way and this is the ONLY bad thing I can say about this place.
