Not my style of pizza. This place is very close to Fifth Third Field, so it's a nice place to go before a Mudhen's game. The atmosphere is very nice. Casual, old building, two levels and outdoor seating. The food though is average. Pizza is paper thin and doughy, not crisp. It's tasty though. Almost too casual though. Paper plates, plastic cutlery at the table and the salad is served in a disposable bowl. Not too crowded though, even on game nights.

NY style pizza in Toledo, THANK GD!. NY style pizza. Nuf said. Oh, wait they do it right everytime. Get the largest size they offer, and be prepared to eat more pizza than you thought you would ever eat.

First the crust! If you have never had NY style pizza it is thin crust. Not crackery, but thin with the right amount of chew to make it awesome. Then they have an excellent sauce. SOOO yummy. Love it! Oh, and then toppings, yes they have all the toppings you are looking for. Just go order some right now!

Yes, they do have more on the menu. I'd suggest checking out the website because I love their pizza, and just order that.

If you have never been to Home Slice it is right by the ball park so it is easy to find. There is only street parking so you might want to go to H. S. on a day without a baseball game going on. If you only come to Toledo for the Mud Hen's games, or Walleye games you have to plan to go to Home Slice!
