Amazing Dress Selection!.
I went to Gallippos to get my senior prom dress 2 years ago. I had amazing service. They had plenty to try on, and I am a size 10. The alterations were flawless, and Yvonne, the owner personally
picked out the dress for me, and complimented how it looked on me. You could tell she was genuine too, she wasn't just trying to make a sale which is nice considering how high class of a place it seems to be. They were extremely busy at the time I went, and still very helpful. When I get engaged, Gallippos will be the first place I go for my bridal dress. It was STOCKED with bridal gowns!

Outstanding Customer Service.
In the past two years I have made two bridal gown purchases from Gallippo's. The first bridal gown purchase was for a photo shoot, and the second gown was for a wedding in England. On both occasions,
the staff were extremely courteous and professional. In addition to the gowns, I also purchased several hair ornaments, and bridal sleeves, and they went out of their way to accommodate the time constraints I was working with.
In addition to their dedication to the highest level of customer service, they maintain an amazing inventory of bridal gowns, formal wear, and accessories. In my opinion, they are well worth the three hour drive to Toledo!…

I was BEYOND impressed with Gallippos, as they are the ONLY store I found in the Chicago, Toledo, Ann Arbor, and Southern New Hampshire areas which carry dresses IN STORE AND OFF THE RACK sized below
an 8. I am a 4, and found a plethora of dresses available to try on, which made a HUGE difference. Besides desiring to buy off the rack to save money, it was amazing to see what a dress would actually look like on.
The prices were very reasonable, and the manager was open to negotiation.
I had my alterations done at Gallippo's as well, and yvonne did an excellent job. I had custom straps added to my dress made out of the hem fabric, and they came out fantastic. The bustle was gorgeous and the alterations as a whole were just great.
I would recommend Gallippo's to anyone, even over boutiques in the Chicago area.…
Amazing Bridal Store. I spent hours perusing dresses online and in stores. I went to David’s Bridal and had good assistance but I did not find anything that made me feel amazing. I went to Gallippo’s on short notice; I went on a weekday which was nice. I called an hour before showing up to see if they had an appointment open and they fit me right in. Over the phone the girl asked me what kind of styles I liked and I told her my size and budget. Once I got there they had eight or so dressed pulled for me to try on and all of them were beautiful! The girls were very attentive and very professional. The owner came in and saw what I seemed to like and she went and pulled a few dresses for me also. One of the dresses she pulled was absolutely stunning and I purchased it that day. Gallippo’s is a wonderful place to find the “perfect dress.” It made me feel great to get a dress that 80 other women hadn’t already rejected. Yvonne, the owner knows dresses and does an amazing job of picking the best for your body. I definitely recommend going to Gallippo’s. Don’t let the bad reviews sway you, sometimes people have their off days, who doesn’t? I couldn’t be happier with my dress from there !…
Horrible Customer Service. Bridal Dress shopping SHOULD be a fun and joyful time! At Gallippo's it was ridiculous...they were impolite, negative, and angry. I called to set up appt. letting them know we were coming from an hour and a half away. I let them know right away I already had my dress but I had every intention of possibly finding/buying TEN bridesmaid dresses and BOTH mothers dresses. First there was a $25 fee per bridesmaid to TRY ON dresses. I had 7 girls and both mothers with me. They chipped in so one girl could try dresses on. The entire time we were ignored and cast aside (i think mainly because I already had my dress). We had the bridesmaid try on ONE silly dress because that's what its about-having a good time and not being stressed. The owner marched in the dressing room (all of the employees did without knocking several times) and yelled at the bridesmaid, saying that we were wasting all of their time and other brides were waiting (which no one was). We paid $25 so why couldn't we try on all the dresses we wanted...I wanted to make the right choice! Before we left my mom asked for the manager's name and the number to call because she wanted to tell them how badly we were treated. The owner, who she was talking to, basically started screaming at my mom telling her how awful we had been and wasted the stores time and told us to "GET OUT, we don't want your business anyways" I don't know who turns down business in this economy but she obviously didn't care. I wish I had read reviews before I went. I wouldn't have wasted my money and gas driving up there. DO NOT GO TO GALLIPPO'S.…
